Leanne Rupp, MSW, LCSW, serves as the Executive Director for both the NASW Utah and NASW Colorado Chapters. A licensed clinical social worker with 20 years of experience across outpatient integrated care, community mental health, and statewide policy and advocacy, Leanne brings a blended micro–mezzo–macro perspective to her leadership within the Association.
Leanne has served as Executive Director of the NASW Colorado Chapter since April 2021, where she oversees statewide member engagement, continuing education, workforce development initiatives, legislative advocacy, and strategic partnerships across the behavioral health and social work ecosystems. In late November 2025, she was appointed by NASW’s National Board of Directors to additionally lead the NASW Utah Chapter as part of a national restructuring designed to strengthen chapter operations, enhance sustainability, and ensure more equitable support for social workers across states.
Grounded in a commitment to community-centered leadership, collaboration, and integrity, Leanne is dedicated to supporting social workers across the full professional spectrum—clinical, administrative, academic, community-based, and policy-focused. She works closely with the NASW Utah Chapter Board to ensure members receive strong, stable, and responsive chapter services during this period of organizational transition and beyond.
