Topic: Help for Survivors
Introduction: Meagan has been a registered nurse for 16 years, with an emphasis in psychiatric medicine. She is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health nurse and has her SANE-A certification. She is certified as an instructor in yoga, traidia in providing trauma-intrime care, suicide prevention, ex enaviorall health. She has been a resident of St George since 2004 and raised her children here. Now that all of her children are grown, she has found great satisfaction working with adolescents and seeks opportunities to engage with young adults to talk about mental wellness, consent and healthy relationships.
Bretteny Goring
Brettany has been with the Dove Center for a little over a year as the Rape and Sexual Assault Program Manager/HART Coordinator. Brettany has extensive training in crisis situations and in trauma-informed care. During the time Brettany has been with Dove her team has tried to bring awareness about sexual assault to the community. Southwest Forensics Nursing and Healthcare has been an extraordinary organization to team up with to educate our community.
Before Brettany started her career with the Dove Center her experience came from Law Enforcement, Corrections, and The Oregon State Hospital. With having to change the direction of employment when relocating to St. George she has returned back to school to explore other career opportunities. Brettany has 2 boys, 1 daughter in law, and 1 beautiful baby granddaughter and is in love with all of them.
