Post Elections Dialogue for Social Workers: Healing, Repairing, Transforming our World

The purpose of our post-election dialogues is to give social workers an opportunity to meet together for mutual support and wisdom sharing, and to learn how to co-create an inclusive community where all viewpoints are welcomed and where we bridge the political differences that have divided us.

NASWUT Chapter 0 71

Offered on:
January 8
February 12
March 12

Facilitators: drDave Derezotes, Dr. David Parker

The purpose of our post-election dialogues is to give social workers an opportunity to meet together for mutual support and wisdom sharing, and to learn how to co-create an inclusive community where all viewpoints are welcomed and where we bridge the political differences that have divided us.

Utah NASW welcomes social workers of all political persuasions to attend this dialogue series next year. Our first dialogue on December 11th was well attended and we were pleased that we had a diversity of political views in the zoom room, from across the state. Many emotions were expressed, tears were shed, and, best of all, our communications were civil and caring. Participants wanted to continue meeting, and we welcome all additional social workers who might want to join us.

We believe that this kind of work will benefit not only the Utah Social work Community, but also ultimately the clients and communities we serve.
