This Symposium is a unique partnership sponsored by the Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office, the Utah Shattering Silence Coalition, and the Coalition for Severe Mental Illness. The objective is to discuss the issue of the criminalization of people with severe mental illness, and how alternatives to incarceration can be created. 

This annual hybrid conference is a collaboration between UVU organizations focused on the well-being of UVU community members and beyond. Our goal is to create a dynamic and enriching experience for attendees to learn more about mental health.
