NASW-Utah cannot confirm if a course you attended or provided is approved for CEU in Utah unless you submit an application and have it approved through the committee. The link to submit your application is above.
The following is a list of the different continuing education application payment options. The Continuing Education Committee meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month; applications are due on the third Wednesday to ensure adequate processing time. Notification of approval status is sent by email within 5 business days. *In the months of November and December, the committee meets on the third Wednesday of each month and applications are due the Friday before*
Expedited Review: As of March 23, 2026, Expedited Review has been paused as a program submission option. We hope to be able to bring this option back in the future, but at this time, APPLICANTS WILL NEED TO SUBMIT THEIR PROGRAM APPLICATIONS ON TIME (by the 3rd Wednesday of each month) in order to have them reviewed for approval determination when the CE Committee Meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month.
Continuing Education Monthly Email: If you would like your course advertised in our NASW-Utah Approved CEU Opportunities email sent out around the 15th of every month, there is an additional $25 fee for this service. Select this in the add-on category. Your course will be advertise once it is approved, which could mean the following month's email.
Quarterly Newsletter: If you would like your course advertised in our NASW-Utah Quarterly Newsletter sent out in January, April, July, and October, there is an additional $25 fee for this service. Select this in the add-on category. Your course will be advertise in the newsletter once it is approved, which could mean the following quarterly newsletter.
Advertising on the NASW-Utah Website: If you would like your course advertised on our NASW-Utah website and CEU calendar for one month, there is an additional $50 fee for this service. Select this in the add-on category. Your course will be advertised after it is approved, which could mean after the CEU committee meeting at the end of each month.
