Description: We have all experienced working with challenging clients. The question is, can we stay focused on our mission and stay the 'safe other' in the room for the client in order to help them navigate difficult emotions? Getting triggered by challenging clients means we are human. But we need to be aware of what takes us off our mission and be curious of our own self of the therapist moments that hit us in session and learn how to navigate these blocks to maintain relentless empathy and curiosity with our clients. Together let's look at client attachment-based strategies for survival and how to see deeper the human across from us.
