Utah has over 9,000 Social Workers! As a unified group we could have a significant impact on policy in Utah - but we need our Utah Social Workers to help us.

Join NASW-Utah for a Social Work day on the hill. We will briefly meet to discuss 2024 legislation, provide you with tools and resources to meet with your legislators.

We welcome and encourage all NASW-Utah members to join us as we discuss legislative issues and how we can address any challenges and provide support.

The legislative committee meets on the 4th TUESDAY at 4PM MT in the months of Aug, Oct, April, & June, with a meeting scheduled on the 3rd TUESDAY of December due to conflicting holiday break schedules during the 4th week of that month. The committee meets weekly from January-March, with dates & times TBD during the Legislative Session.

YOU CAN RECEIVE CEU CREDITS:
You can earn up to six hours of CEU credit for each renewal cycle by participating in an NASW-Utah committee.
These credits qualify as ethics/law credits.
